Vered Levant

VIMY HR was founded when Vered Levant, a senior Human Resource professional with experience in a variety of industries including non-profit, government, oil & gas, utilities, construction, financial services and health & wellness, joined a small start up to formalize their operations and expand their local footprint. After just a couple of months of involvement and double revenues, she realized the benefits even the smallest of businesses could achieve from the implementation of practical HR strategies. The challenges facing small businesses in obtaining cost effective HR solutions was astounding. She founded VIMY HR to service small to medium sized organizations by providing a tailored, cost effective approach to the recruitment and engagement of talent.

In the last decade Vered has supported Executives, Managers and Employees in all aspects of HR including, but not limited to:

  • recruitment
  • performance management
  • learning and development
  • change management
  • succession planning and,
  • policy development.

Her passion is in providing her clients top notch service and watching companies succeed and profit because of sound HR decisions and programming.

In her downtime Vered enjoys spending time with her 2 children, cross country skiing, hiking, reading, listening to Podcasts, attending local theatre, travelling, and exploring new restaurants in the city.

Heather Barratt

Senior HR Consultant

Heather Barratt is a Senior HR Professional with over 15 years of strong, HR Business Partner and Team Leader experience combined throughout Alberta, and Ontario. She has worked in a broad range of industries such as oilfield services, manufacturing, waste management, oil field services and technology. She has had her CPHR designation since 2007 demonstrating her strong interest in being a continuous learner of HR trends and technology. She has a collaborative, problem-solving approach who provides practical solutions for her clients. She is known for her strong ability to build solid, trusting relationships and was recently awarded an MVP award from a former global, company. Her breadth of experience includes providing guidance and support in:

  • Organizational effectiveness: culture alignment, leadership development, employee development, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Organizational development: career ladder development, job analysis and evaluation, recognition programs and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Employee relations & investigations.
  • Talent Management: strategic recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, and succession planning.

Little known facts:

  • You can find me most weekends in the mountains either camping, biking, hiking, paddling, skiing, or snowshoeing.
  • Most recently I have taken up paddle boarding and have been known to take my dog for a cruise!
  • I have done guides hikes in the jungles of Costa Rica during the daytime and at night!
